Team Churchill Sprint Across the Finish Line for Dougie Mac

The Full Churchill Team
The sun shone on Team Churchill yesterday for the Dougie Mac 5K Ruby Run/Walk. The seventh Douglas Macmillan Hospice 5K Run/Walk event, which took place at the Wedgwood estate in Stoke-On-Trent, was a great success. Churchill, who couldn't be missed in their team T-Shirts, donated by Action International,  were among the 1,000 strong entrants. A valiant effort was made by all to complete the course in their fastest times either running or walking the course.

The Limited Dougie Mac Mugs on sale
Churchill also had  a stall at the event selling the limited Dougie Mac mugs. The volunteers on the stall did a fantastic job selling the mugs. 97 were sold in total raising £485.

Sponsorship is still rolling in for the team all going towards the £40,000 fundraising target. A big thank you goes out to all who supported or volunteered on the day.
